However, upon discovering the bars and restaurants that Taylor Swift and her NFL fiancé Travis Kelce were patronising in my adopted city of Los Angeles, I felt compelled to provide alternative suggestions, despite the likelihood that the couple in question will never see them. It is not my place to cast judgement on the dining habits of others, including those who are extraordinarily wealthy, famous, or attractive, but…Barney’s Beanery? How did Tay’s security detail give that one the go-ahead?
Additional rumoured destinations of Taylor and Travis in Los Angeles include Nobu in Malibu, an ostensibly exquisite and upscale sushi establishment with a breathtaking view; however,…Sincerely, I believe this celebrity couple is deserving of greater. Without additional ado, the following is my (completely subjective) enumeration of establishments in Los Angeles where Taylor Swift and Travis ought to imbibe:
1. The Atwater Roost
Taylor and Travis’s visit to Barney’s Beanery suggests that they desire a divey and relaxed atmosphere, preferably accompanied by food. In that case, I cannot imagine a more suitable location for them to decompress than this minuscule, incredibly lively bar that serves lethally potent drinks and Thai cuisine. A parking lot is also available, specifically for their limousines.
2. Glendale’s Kura Revolving Sushi Bar
While it is unlikely that Taylor and Travis are seeking inexpensive all-you-can-eat sashimi deals, I believe that even celebrities and professional athletes value a deal. In all honesty, I believe that the sushi at this establishment is capable of competing with that of Nobu, and Malibu is frankly so overrated that Glendale will be the next major, sexy neighbourhood in Los Angeles. Travis and Taylor could reserve a table at the Americana at six o’clock, gorge on sushi, and then stroll around while holding hands and purchasing Auntie Anne’s pretzels. What more explicitly declares “true love” than sashimi procured from a shopping mall?
3. Los Feliz’s Little Dom’s
Although I do not intend to appear connoisseurial (Applebee’s is my absolute favourite), the thought of Travis and Taylor consuming pizza at Barney’s Beanery when there is far superior Italian cuisine available in Los Angeles is causing me to develop hives. Alongside the other luminaries, why not dine at Little Dom’s and savour an authentic Margherita? Alternatively, they could sublet the restaurant out.
4. The Nett of Neptune in Malibu
Apologies for dismissing Malibu as a mere savagery; despite being overrun with obnoxious, affluent beach buddies, it remains one of the most picturesque locales in Los Angeles. Taylor and Travis would undoubtedly appreciate the utmost that this seafood and beer establishment situated off the motorway has to offer. Not only does it offer breathtaking views, but it also provides the chance to gorge oneself on fried prawns.
5. Cheesecake Factory, located in Santa Monica
Concentrate: There is a view of the ocean! On one of our very first dates, my partner brought me here, and I devoured cheeseburger spring rolls while the waves lapping gently behind us made me feel like an absolute princess. Permit me to have that for Taylor Swift. It is the right that each and every woman should have.
