The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization / EPFO has made it easy for employees to check their PF balance even without the Internet. With the help of a simple SMS, employees can now get their PF balance instantly.

To check your PF balance without the internet, simply SMS 7738299899. The format of the SMS should be as follows:
EPFOHO UAN [language code]
For example, if your UAN is 1234567890 and you want to get your balance in English, you would send the following SMS:
EPFOHO 1234567890 EN
Once you have sent the SMS, you will receive a reply from EPFO with your PF balance. The reply will also include your PF account number, EPFO office, and KYC status.
