Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Arvind Kejriwal, the jailed Chief Minister of Delhi, held a roadshow in Delhi on Saturday. The event marked the beginning of the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) campaign for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
Sunita Kejriwal stood on a vehicle, greeting people in the region while holding hands. This happens during a large gathering. Kuldeep Kumar, the AAP candidate in East Delhi, was sitting on a car and showing a portrait of Rani Laxmibai.
Arvind Kejriwal Arrest: AAP’s Strategy and BJP’s Backfire
Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a case of consumer politics in Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is trying to capitalize on this situation and is ensuring that his wife Sunita Kejriwal conveys this sentimental message to the voters.
Senior AAP leaders also attended the road show, but instead of drawing attention to themselves, they chose to focus on Sunita Kejriwal.
“The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) jailed Arvind Kejriwal in the hope that they could stop him from campaigning, but today thousands of Arvind Kejriwal’s supporters took to the streets to campaign.
According to Delhi Minister Atishi, “This is the love of the people of Delhi.. .so many people came together to bless Arvind Kejriwal and Sunita Kejriwal.”

“People of Delhi are upset with the arrest of CM Arvind Kejriwal…from today through Sunita Kejriwal’s roadshow we are starting campaign for the 3rd phase of elections…BJP is afraid of AAP’s campaign,” Gopal Rai, a prominent AAP leader told reporters.
Sunita Kejriwal and Kalpana Soren, wife of Hemant Soren, former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, attended demonstrations by the opposition alliance INDIA.
They also attacked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government at the Center for arresting opposition leaders ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
In the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections, Delhi will cast its vote.
The sixth phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will see all seven seats in Delhi going to polls on May 25.
Former president of the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU), Kanhaiya Kumar, is challenging Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Manoj Tiwari, the sole saffron-affiliated nominee renominated from his seat. The national capital is currently experiencing several major battles.
