On Friday, there was an explosion in Whitefield, Bengaluru’s well-known Rameshwaram Cafe. Food bloggers from all across the nation have been drawn to the eatery. An Instagram or YouTube video describing how “iconic” this Bengaluru cafe has been would not have escaped the attention of a foodie. The recent Rameshwaram Cafe blast went viral. Social media flooded with footage of the large crowd during the explosion.

The Rameshwaram Cafe blast on Friday night, possibly caused by a cylinder explosion, injured at least five people. Though the exact number of injuries wasn’t immediately known, authorities confirmed that at least five individuals were hospitalized. The explosion at the Rameshwaram Cafe  in Kundanahalli caused a fire.

A photo of Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan smiling with a platter of South Indian food and the Rameshwaram Cafe in the background would have been seen. Additionally, he posted these photos to Instagram with the caption, “After visiting these iconic and delicious eateries in Banglore, soch raha hun food blogger ban jaun.” The previous week, his post went viral.

Rameshawaram Cafe bills itself as a “Premium Veg Dakshin Bharatiya Cafe” on its Instagram profile. It can be found in several places, including Madhapur in Hyderabad and Bengaluru’s Indiranagar, JP Nagar, Brookfield, and Rajajinagar.

According to the establishment’s social media handle on X, Rameshwaram Cafe is owned by Mr. Raghavendra Rao and CA Divya S.

Several food bloggers have reviewed this cafe. “This is by far the best Podi Isli ever,” exclaimed one of them. When visiting Bangalore, be sure to visit The Rameshwarama Cafe.
